God made Ben and Mary, not Ben and Jerry

October 16, 2008

“I just saw a couple yesterday in the grocery store. Man and man. They were buying icecream and the Husband was standing tall and walking behind his man partner as he pushed the cart and you can tell she was the more Feminine of the two.. Not because he was pushing the cart but the way he was acting. So they still try to be like Man and wife. I saw no dominince of him or the other him, just I could tell by his style and attitude that he was the honey.”

1) Going to the grocery store to stock up on Rocky Road.

2) Stalking shoppers through the freezer aisle in order to make sweeping generalizations about their gender identities, then posting a lurid account of same on the internet.

One of these represents normal, traditional, all-American, family-friendly behavior. One represents a perverted alternative lifestyle that undermines the moral foundations of our society. Can you tell which is which?

What do you want to bet that this poster is perfectly fine with using incorrect pronouns to insult people (omg that man is so stereotypically FEMININE!!!) but would refuse to use correct pronouns for trans* people?

Yeah, because gender and sexuality are so related. Small minds have small thoughts.
